The templates

Eight wedding invitation templates — from floral to editorial

Every template follows the same rule: your names lead, the details stay quiet, and nothing fights the typography.

Floral

Garden, Wildflower and Laurel wrap your names in watercolor botanicals — the soft, organic look couples searching for wedding invitations with floral design fall for.

Classic

Classic Ivory, Arch and Calligraphy lean on timeless stationery typography: hairline frames, quiet capitals and a flowing script for your names.

Editorial

Editorial and Deco are for modern weddings — an ink-black ground, geometric ornaments and confident type that looks straight out of a magazine.

The full suite

What goes in a wedding invitation suite?

A suite is everything that travels in the envelope together. Here’s the classic checklist:

Invitation card

The main 5×7″ card with your names, date and venue — the one you design above.

RSVP card

A small reply card with a deadline — or simply a link or QR code so guests can reply online.

Details card

Accommodation, directions, timings and the dress code — everything that doesn’t belong on the invitation itself.

Envelope & addressing

Hand-written guest names feel the most personal; save printed labels for the return address.

Finishing touches

A belly band, wax seal or silk ribbon turns a stack of cards into a keepsake.

Photo-sharing card

The piece most couples forget: a card that tells guests how to share the photos they take — one QR code collects them all.

DIY printing

Printing DIY wedding invitations at home

Your download is print-ready. Four things that make DIY invitations look professionally made:

1

Choose a heavy card stock

250–300 gsm cotton or matte card stock feels luxurious and won’t curl. Standard printer paper always reads as flimsy.

2

Print at true size

Print the 5×7″ PDF at 100% scale — never “fit to page” — so the margins stay exactly as designed.

3

Pair with A7 envelopes

A 5×7″ invitation slides perfectly into an A7 envelope (5¼ × 7¼″) with room left for an RSVP card.

4

Proof one before fifty

Print a single copy, check the colours and margins in daylight, then run the batch — or hand the PDF to a local print shop.

FAQ

Wedding invitation questions, answered

Everything couples ask while designing and sending their invitations.

Send wedding invitations 6–8 weeks before the wedding — or 10–12 weeks for a destination wedding so guests can book travel. Save-the-dates go out much earlier, around 6–8 months ahead.
