QR codes earn their place on stationery when they save guests typing — here’s how to add one without hurting the design:
Give each code a clear purpose
Use a details card for the website or RSVP link, and a separate sign for photo uploads. Write the purpose beside each code so guests know what will open.
Keep the code easy to scan
Keep its clear border, avoid folding through it and print a proof. Test on more than one phone at the intended distance and in similar lighting.
Check the destination before printing
This is a static code: changing the link later means making a new code. Check dates, permissions and mobile access before printing your final batch.

How do I create a QR code for my wedding?
Paste the link you want guests to open, choose a design and add your names. Download the card as a PNG or as an A6, A4 or US Letter PDF. Open the destination without your owner login, then scan a printed proof before making the full batch.
How do I make a QR code for wedding photos?
Create an upload album first, then paste its guest link into the generator. The code opens that page; it does not store photos. With camera.wedding, guests enter their name and select photos in their browser. Premium also supports video uploads.
Do wedding QR codes expire?
The static QR pattern has no expiry date. Its destination must stay available, and your album provider may limit upload and hosting periods. A working QR code does not extend those periods.
Can I change the link after printing my QR code?
This generator puts your chosen link directly into the QR pattern. To point it at a different URL, create and print a new code. If you control the original page, you can update that page’s content while keeping its URL.
Which print size should I choose?
Choose A6 for a small table card, A4 for a larger sign or US Letter for letter-size paper. A4 and Letter PDFs center the design with printer margins. Print at actual size and test the QR code on multiple phones at the intended viewing distance.
Can I use a wedding website or RSVP link?
Yes. Use an HTTP or HTTPS link and change the card instruction to match its purpose. Check that guests can access the page and submit their response without your owner login. You can also download only the QR as a PNG for your own stationery.
Is the wedding QR code generator free?
The generator and PNG/PDF artwork downloads are free, without an account. Album hosting is separate. You can use an existing guest link or create a paid camera.wedding album; check pricing for current plans and upload periods.

Link the code to your guest upload page, not your dashboard or the sample album. If you use another album service, check that its sharing settings allow the access you want.

Check the destination without your owner login
Open the link in another browser and enter a guest name. Confirm the page is the right album. When uploads are open, send a test photo and check that it reaches your dashboard.

Scan a printed proof
Download the final card or sign and print one copy at actual size. Keep the clear border around the code. Ask an iPhone and Android guest to try it before printing the batch.

Give people a text-link alternative
Put the guest link beside the code and add a short instruction. Check the venue connection and your upload dates. Guests can upload later while the window is open.
